Job Summary
Lead the daily DTC Settlements and Vault Operations, overseeing settlement activities for a U.S. team with offshore resources. Drive regulatory compliance, process optimization, and automation opportunities; supervise staff development and ensure adherence to SOPs and client contracts. Manage operational performance, address client escalations, mitigate financial risk with MTM considerations, and develop training materials and SOPs to enable seamless operations. Build productive client relationships, communicate issues and action plans clearly, and push for continuous improvement across settlement processes including security settlements, vault processing, and related operational tasks. Strong emphasis on leadership, process discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate settlements, regulatory obligations (e.g., FINRA extensions, DK reporting), and timely issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree/equivalent experience
- Experience within DTC Settlements
- Vault experience preferred
- Series 99 preferred
- Strong supervisory capabilities
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong client communication skills
