DSUS Technical Services Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead the daily execution and development of the Technical Services department by supervising field personnel, coordinating workforce assignments, and managing project and contract portfolios. Establish safety-first expectations, monitor labor utilization and budget performance, and drive continuous improvement across planning, documentation, and operational procedures. Serve as the primary field-level representative to customers, resolve technical issues, and build relationships with airport authorities, airlines, and vendors. When personnel are not on site, coordinate meaningful work including developing procedures, supporting remote teams, and updating technical libraries. This role supports the operational capacity and growth of the department through strategic workforce planning and standardized project practices.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in field service, airport equipment, industrial maintenance, automation, material-handling systems, or a related technical environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical project requirements, airport regulations, and safety standards
- Previous experience supervising or leading technical personnel
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, schedules, resources, customers, contracts, and field documentation
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain required airport and customer credentials
- Ability to travel and support nonstandard work schedules when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience reviewing project scopes, customer requirements, change orders, and other contractual documents
- Experience developing or improving processes, procedures, or work standards
- An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, project management, construction management, industrial technology, business, or a related field
- Equivalent technical training, leadership experience, and relevant field experience
- Experience with airport infrastructure, project and contract management practices, OSHA requirements, continuous improvement, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Planner, CMMS, or ERP systems
