Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a residential group home setting provides person‐centered care to up to 4 residents. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities (personal care, hygiene, meals, household tasks, transportation), supporting community involvement and independent living skills, advocating for residents’ rights and preferences, monitoring health and well‐being, and documenting care. Role requires completing required documentation, participating in training and team meetings, and maintaining safety through DHS background check, driving record review, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers a $1,500 hiring bonus, pay of $16.00/hour with potential increase after six months, comprehensive benefits for 30+ hourly staff, paid orientation and training, and opportunities for career growth within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to pass DHS background check
