DSP - Thieriot Avenue

Supervise individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing individual plans of protective oversight, administering prescribed medication, and ensuring health and safety. Advocate for residents in the community for medical appointments, recreation, and spiritual development while transporting them to activities and home visits. Assist with daily living skills including personal hygiene, food preparation, and grocery shopping, and prepare balanced meals. Maintain facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards through cleaning, fire safety training, and documentation of progress notes and goals. Observe and report unusual behaviors to clinical staff and remain on shift until relief arrives. Maintain current certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP.
