Job Summary
Provide hands-on support to individuals in residential Independent Habilitation settings as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Assist with daily living, follow service plans, and help maintain safe, comfortable homes. Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent; preference for prior experience in developmental disabilities. Must obtain required certifications to become a medication technician and CPR/First Aid, plus any DD certifications as required. Strong observation skills, ability to report observations verbally and in writing, and basic computer skills are needed. Flexible scheduling with weekend coverage (12-14 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays) is required. This role offers employer-supported training and opportunities for career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preference for experience in developmental disabilities
- Must possess or be able to obtain required certifications to become a medication technician; CPR and First Aid; DD certification as required for the position
- Must have knowledge and skills to perform ordinary household functions
- Must have basic computer operation skills
