Job Summary
Assist individuals with disabilities in daily living, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility within residential homes, day programs, or community settings. Provide behavioral supports and transportation to work sites or clients using a reliable vehicle and phone access. Maintain verbal and written communication skills while completing required training and renewals. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold approved background clearance, and possess valid driver's license and insurance if driving an approved vehicle. Flexible schedules and competitive hourly rates are available for this direct support role.
Required Qualifications
- verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job
- at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Approved Background Clearance Application, through the Office of Licensing annually
- Specific language abilities (other than English)
- Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable
- Access to a telephone
- ability to meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned
- valid Driver's License
- acceptable Driving Record
- current auto insurance that meet minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies
