DSP - Per Diem - Staten Island - Cluster #12 (DeRuyter & David PL)

Ensure appropriate supervision, health, and safety of individuals while implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight. Administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living skills including hygiene, food preparation, and housekeeping, and facilitate fire safety training. Advocate for individuals in the community for medical appointments, recreation, and spiritual development, and transport them for home visits and activities. Maintain facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards, prepare balanced meals, clean residential units, and assist with grocery and supply purchases. Complete daily progress notes, individual logs, and job-related tasks as needed. Remain on shift until relief arrives. Maintain updated certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP.
