DSP - Pelham Manor

Supervise individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring health and safety while implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight. Administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living skills including hygiene, food preparation, and shopping, and facilitate skill training in fire safety. Advocate for individuals in the community for medical appointments, recreation, and spiritual development, while transporting them to activities and home visits. Maintain facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards through cleaning, meal preparation, and documentation of progress notes and logs. Observe and report unusual behaviors, cooperate with clinical staff, and remain on shift until relief arrives. Maintain current certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP.
