Job Summary
Provide ongoing support to people during overnight and morning hours, including self-care routines like toileting, feeding, showering, dressing, and diapering. Ensure health, safety, and well-being by following treatment plans, utilizing adaptive equipment, and assisting with household chores. Administer medication according to AMAP policy and document any events affecting resident safety. Support meal preparation by teaching diet adherence and cooking skills. Accompany residents to day programs or job locations using safe driving practices. Practice the agency's mission in every interaction to maintain a high quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion and maintenance of AMAP (Approved Medication Administration Personnel) status
- The ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
