Job Summary
Conduct overnight awake BCCS CRP support, ensuring a safe and clean home by assisting with household chores and participating in them as needed. Teach meal preparation concepts including diet adherence, portion control, and cooking skills. Administer medication according to AMAP policy and procedures, while documenting sleep checks through the night and maintaining accurate medical documentation with residential nurses. Implement treatment plans, including residential habilitation goals and communication logs, to promote independence and health. Provide transportation for emergency situations, mentor new staff by reviewing training manuals, and participate in all emergency evacuation procedures. Adhere to overtime policies and attend necessary meetings to discuss progress and goal achievement.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified NYS drivers' license required and maintained throughout employment
- AMAP Training is required and must be completed within six (6) months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- First Aid/CPR/SCIP-R Training is preferred
- Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information
