Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with individuals served by FREE (Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc.) to help achieve Personal Outcomes. Responsibilities include identifying and realizing personal life goals, advocating, teaching new life skills, promoting health and safety, building relationships and social roles, developing service plans with the interdisciplinary team, providing positive behavior support, documenting service provision, ensuring safety, and transporting clients to appointments or activities. Role also involves assisting with personal care as needed, housekeeping duties, planning and preparing nutritious meals, maintaining confidentiality, and meeting safety and training requirements in a residential setting. Requires driving clients in an agency vehicle and is performed in-person.
