Conduct daily supervision, health, and safety oversight for individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight. Administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living skills including hygiene, food preparation, and household maintenance, and facilitate learning in areas like fire safety and social skills. Advocate for individuals in the community for medical appointments, recreation, and spiritual development while transporting them for home visits and activities. Maintain facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards, prepare balanced meals, clean residential units, and document progress through daily logs and goal implementation. Observe and report unusual behaviors to clinical staff, remain on shift until relief arrives, and complete required trainings and certifications.
