Job Summary
Direct Support Professional (DSP) providing structured, community-based Day Habilitation support for adults 22+ with Autism and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include facilitating daily activities, group sessions, and community outings to build skills in communication, socialization, recreation, and vocational readiness; promoting independence and self-advocacy; assisting with personal care as needed; collaborating with program staff, therapists, and families to tailor meaningful support; shifts Monday–Friday (7:30 AM–3:30 PM or 9:00 AM–3:00 PM) with no nights, weekends, or holidays. Must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and pass a background check; driving experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid and current U.S. driver’s license (1+ year of licensed driving experience)
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and adaptability
- Experience supporting individuals with special needs (preferred but not required)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
