Job Summary
Monitor client files for completeness, including medication administration records and progress notes, while assisting in individual plan development. Ensure site and vehicle safety by identifying hazards and addressing unsafe situations immediately. Maintain accurate documentation, perform record keeping, and attend periodic meetings and trainings per regulations. Drive a vehicle with a satisfactory record and possess a valid license. Maintain background study clearance and stay current on all required trainings. Work 40% FTE or greater to qualify for the $2,500 hiring bonus and six-month wage increase.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED or experience working with vulnerable populations
- Experience and/or training of at least one year with individuals with disabilities
- Medication administration training
- First Aid training
- CPR Certificate
- Mental Health Certification or other related certification
- Background Study (BGS) clearance
- Driver's license
- Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to read, write and use computer
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize boundaries
- Ability to suggest and implement strategies to enhance the service
- Computer skills that support LSS technology
- Patience, self-control, and flexibility
- 40% FTE or greater
- Remain up to date on all trainings
- Maintain employment in good standing
- Work all scheduled shifts
