Job Summary
Monitor client files to ensure completeness and accuracy, including medication administration records, progress notes, and relevant reports. Assist in developing individual plans and ensure a safe environment by noting safety hazards, maintenance needs, and addressing unsafe situations. Maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings and trainings according to regulations. This role requires 40% FTE or greater, a driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record. Eligibility for a $2,500 hiring bonus depends on meeting specific employment and training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED or experience working with vulnerable populations
- Experience and/or training of at least one year with individuals with disabilities
- Medication administration training
- First Aid training
- CPR Certificate
- Mental Health Certification or other related certification
- Background Study (BGS) clearance
- Driver's license
- Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to read, write and use computer
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize boundaries
- Ability to suggest and implement strategies to enhance the service
- Computer skills that support LSS technology
- Patience, self-control, and flexibility
- 40% FTE or greater
- Remain up to date on all trainings
- Maintain employment in good standing
- Work all scheduled shifts
