Job Summary
Develop and monitor individual plans for clients with disabilities, ensuring medication administration records, progress notes, and reports are complete and accurate. Maintain a safe environment by identifying site and vehicle safety hazards, addressing unsafe situations, and documenting all maintenance needs. Perform required record-keeping, participate in periodic meetings and trainings, and suggest strategies to enhance services. Maintain a driver's license with a satisfactory record and possess basic math and computer skills to support LSS technology. Eligibility for a $1,500 hiring bonus requires meeting 40% FTE, maintaining good standing, and completing all scheduled shifts and training updates.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree, GED or experience working with vulnerable populations
- Experience and/or training of at least one year with individuals with disabilities
- Medication administration training
- First Aid training
- CPR Certificate
- Mental Health Certification or other related certification
- Background Study (BGS) clearance
- Driver's license
- Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to read, write and use computer
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to recognize boundaries
- Ability to suggest and implement strategies to enhance the service
- Computer skills that support LSS technology
- Patience, self-control, and flexibility
- 40% FTE or greater
- Remain up to date on all trainings
- Maintain employment in good standing
- Work all scheduled shifts
