Job Summary
Direct Support Professional I providing health, safety and well‐being support to adults with IDD in a home/community setting. Responsibilities include completing Residential Habilitation documentation, assisting with meals and daily routines, implementing community integration plans, maintaining a clean and respectful residence, responding to crises per agency policy, administering medications after certification, assisting with personal care, supporting transportation to appointments and activities, and representing the agency positively. Requires med certification/driver eligibility within 90 days, valid NYS driver license, and completion of specified trainings; hours vary with individual needs and may include overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
