DSP II - Port Jervis

Supervise individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight and ensuring health and safety. Administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living skills including hygiene, food preparation, and shopping, and facilitate skill training in areas like fire safety and social skills. Advocate for individuals by transporting them to medical appointments, recreational activities, and home visits while maintaining facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards. Complete daily progress notes, logs, and goal implementation documentation, and provide spiritual and moral support. Maintain updated certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP, and attend required workshops. Remain on shift until relief arrives and complete job-related tasks as needed.
