Job Summary
Provide hands-on support to individuals in residential settings, assisting with daily living, service plans, and maintaining safe, comfortable homes. Perform ordinary household functions, observe and accurately report conditions verbally and in writing, and operate basic computer systems. Maintain required certifications for medication technician, CPR, First Aid, and developmental disabilities. Work flexible schedules including weekends, with e/o weekend rotations and 12-14 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Required Qualifications
- Requires knowledge and skill equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma
- Must have knowledge and skills necessary to perform ordinary household functions
- Must possess good observation skills and relate observations accurately, both verbally and in writing
- Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic computer operations
- Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become a medication technician
- Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become CPR certified
- Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become First Aid certified
- Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become DD certified
Desired Qualifications
- Preference is given to those with work experience in the field of developmental disabilities
