Job Summary
The DSP Essential provides essential in-home support for adults with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, managing medications, and household maintenance. Responsibilities include creating individualized support plans, tracking participant progress, and acting as a liaison between clients and their families or case managers. The role requires ongoing training, crisis management skills, and the ability to implement safety procedures. Candidates are expected to have a high school diploma or GED and experience in adult support services.
Required Qualifications
