DSP - East 21st Street

Supervise individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight, administering prescribed medications, and ensuring health and safety. Advocate for clients in the community for medical appointments, recreation, and spiritual development while transporting them to activities and home visits. Assist with daily living skills including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, and maintain the residential unit in compliance with OPWDD and COA standards. Document progress through daily logs and facilitate skill training in areas such as fire safety and social skills. Remain on shift until relief arrives and observe unusual behavior to report to clinical staff.
