Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, focusing on fostering independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities, including completing household tasks like meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment. Offer personal care assistance and transport individuals using a personal, reliable vehicle with a valid Ohio driver's license. This role requires the ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs and includes paid training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration. Full-time employment offers a competitive salary range of $17.30 to $18.30, comprehensive benefits, and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid OH driver's license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
