Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, fostering independence while ensuring health and safety needs are met. Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in daily life activities, including completing household tasks like meal preparation and maintaining a clean living environment. Offer personal care assistance to those served. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid Ohio driver's license, and a reliable vehicle for transport. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Full training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration is provided.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served
- Valid OH driver's license and car insurance
- Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch
