Job Summary
Work directly 1:1 in a group home setting with children with developmental disabilities. Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child's progress. Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals. Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities. Model professional appearance and attitudes. This full-time role includes paid training, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- A Valid Driver's License
- Successful background clearance, physical, agility test, and drug/alcohol screening
- Lift, push, pull and/ or carry 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl and run
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Enthusiasm for working with children
