DSP - De Ruyter Place

Conduct daily supervision and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight. Administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living skills including hygiene, food preparation, and housekeeping, and facilitate skill training in areas such as fire safety and social skills. Advocate for individuals in the community by transporting them to medical appointments, recreational activities, and workshops while maintaining facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards. Document progress through daily logs, complete job-related tasks as needed, and remain on shift until relief arrives. Maintain updated certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP, and observe or report any unusual behavior to clinical staff.
