Job Summary
The position involves providing person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and integration within the community. Responsibilities include assisting individuals with daily living routines, facilitating activities, documenting services provided, and adhering to OPWDD regulations. Candidates must have a valid NYS Driver’s license, and a high school diploma is preferred. The role demands good judgment, flexibility in scheduling, and physical capability to perform necessary duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred
- 1-3 years paid employment, volunteer experience, or related life experience
- Valid NYS Driver’s license with good driving record
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position
