Job Summary
Support individuals in achieving personal goals through a person-centered focus while teaching independent living and daily skills for grooming, personal care, and household tasks like meal preparation. Actively plan and coordinate social activities, including frequent community outings, and assist residents with social, environmental, and health care needs. This role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and experience in residential settings serving people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Required Qualifications
- Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided
- Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or with other types of special needs populations (rehabilitation settings, nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, other behavioral health settings, etc.)
- Saturday/Sunday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
