Job Summary
Provide community habilitation as a DSP to individuals with disabilities across Newburgh, Middletown, and Orange County. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, health and personal safety, personal care, money management, travel training to navigate the community, promoting health and wellness, self-advocacy, social skills development, money management, food preparation, and safe use of public transportation. Will require reliable transportation and mileage reimbursement; opportunities include full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling with shifts ranging to accommodate daytime hours and some evenings/weekends. Qualifications include a valid NYS driver’s license and prior experience as DSP/HHA/PCA or CNA preferred. Salary is estimated at $18.50-$20.50 per hour, annualized to approximately $38,480–$42,640 depending on hours and experience.
