Job Summary
Provide direct support services to individuals in center-based and community settings, facilitating participation in recreational, habilitative, and skill-building activities. Assist with activity preparation, personal care, and medication administration as authorized while ensuring health, safety, and well-being. Maintain accurate documentation, comply with agency policies and HIPAA, and communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and stakeholders. Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the state of Missouri
- Valid driver's license (ability to obtain Class E license within 14 days of hire)
- Proof of valid vehicle insurance
- Reliable ability to pass background and reference checks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, and team members
- Ability to implement person-centered supports, adapt activities to individual needs, and effectively problem solve
- Ability to complete accurate documentation, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional boundaries
- Proficient in basic computer skills and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to stay active throughout the day (standing, walking, sitting, using hands)
- Willingness to assist with lifting, repositioning, and personal care support when needed
- Ability to provide safe, attentive support during daily activities
