DSP - Bronx Park East

Supervise individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight. Administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living skills like hygiene and food preparation, and maintain facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards. Advocate for individuals in the community by attending medical appointments, recreational activities, and home visits while transporting them as needed. Complete daily progress notes, logs, and documentation of goals; prepare balanced meals and maintain the residential unit. Observe and report unusual behaviors, facilitate skill training in fire safety and social skills, and provide spiritual and ethical support. Maintain updated certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP. Remain on shift until relief arrives.
