DSP - Albany Avenue

Supervise individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing their Individual Plan of Protective Oversight, administering prescribed medications, and ensuring health and safety. Advocate for clients in the community for medical appointments, recreation, and spiritual development while assisting with daily living skills like hygiene, food preparation, and shopping. Transport individuals to activities and home visits, facilitate fire safety training, and maintain facility compliance with OPWDD and COA standards. Complete daily progress notes, logs, and balanced meal planning while observing and reporting unusual behaviors. Remain on shift until relief arrives, maintain required certifications in CPR, first aid, SCIP, and AMAP, and attend relevant workshops and meetings.
