Job Summary
The DSM Evaluation Manager will lead and conduct impact evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses of energy efficiency programs, managing evaluation projects, and mentoring junior engineers and analysts. Responsibilities include overseeing data collection efforts, performing advanced data analysis, and leading measurement and verification activities. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, over 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role focuses on energy efficiency program planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. engineering, environmental science with a focus on energy efficiency / energy management, or closely related industry)
- 5+ years of working experience with 4+ years of experience with impact evaluation of energy efficiency programs
- Expert level understanding of building systems, energy end uses and equipment, specific in commercial and industrial sectors is desirable
- In-depth experience with energy assessments, analysis of energy data, and/or Measurement and Verification experience
- Experience preparing reports detailing analytical findings
- Excellent writing, communication, and computer skills are mandatory
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook, and SharePoint
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
- Ability to build relationships with clients and work in tandem to solve logistical and technical issues
