Job Summary
Delivery Driver/Sales Rep in Charlotte, NC balances delivery duties with sales responsibilities. Responsibilities include daily delivery and/or selling on a defined route, loading/unloading products, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries, upselling to customers, merchandising and maintaining POS materials, complying with DOT/FMCSA regulations, providing professional customer service, completing delivery paperwork, inspecting the delivery vehicle, and supporting the team as needed. The role requires independent time management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid sales-delivery capacity with opportunities for career advancement; benefits include health/dental/vision, 401K, paid time off, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with route delivery or DSD delivery is rewarded; willing to learn
- Ability to start daily at 7:00 AM and complete the route; flexibility for longer days as needed
