Job Summary
Cottonwood is seeking a DSD Driver-Non-CDL to join the delivery team. Responsibilities include loading the delivery truck with fresh orders from Cottonwood Warehouse and Dunford Donuts, delivering to Holiday Oil Company C-stores and independent businesses across Utah, verifying product accuracy with customers, documenting missing products on invoices and memos, managing out-of-code inventory with accounts, returning empty totes/crates, stocking shelves and rotating products by code dates, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, complying with safety protocols including onboard camera monitoring, and coordinating with customer management to ensure timely deliveries. The role requires strong math and communication skills, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in varied temperatures, and handle a fast-paced environment. Schedule spans a Sunday-Saturday work window with start time around 12:30 p.m. and deliveries continuing until complete. Safety-sensitive position with MVR monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of safe driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to work in multiple temperature environments including general warehouse areas, and customer stores where refrigerated delivery areas exist
- Ability to work in varied weather conditions
- Strong math skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in English required for communication, reading, and writing
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safely loading delivery truck with fresh orders
- Accurate documentation on invoices and memos
- Code-date aware inventory management
- Collaboration with accounts to monitor missing products/out-of-code items
