DSC IT Technician

Job Summary
DSC IT Technician responsible for setup, installation and configuration of computers and applications; provide technical support and help-desk task documentation; monitor for vulnerabilities; resolve incidents with security patches and updates; determine root causes and develop solutions; manage vendor remote access sessions and maintain logs; maintain hardware inventory and provide equipment/software recommendations; perform OS testing for compatibility, write detailed task instructions, and assist the team with network support; install/troubleshoot devices and cabling; ensure compliance with casino Internal Control policies; perform department tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT Support, Systems Administration, or related technical role
- Strong understanding of computer architecture (CPUs, motherboards, RAM, storage)
- Able to lift and carry equipment weighing more than 30 lbs
- Able to work shifts or be on call during some weekends, holidays and/or evenings as required
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills required
- Strong communication skills: both verbally and in writing
- Must be 21 and obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ or other related certifications
- Experience with Active Directory Users/Computers/Groups
- Experience with printer repair and network printing solutions
- Microsoft 365
