DS Supply Chain Leader UK/IE

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end Global Distribution & Customer Logistics (GDCL) operations for DS UK/IE, setting strategy and operating model for GDCL across OUS, overseeing cross-border logistics, trade execution, and regulatory compliance; partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to align priorities, monitor service/cost/quality via KPIs, drive continuous improvement, mentor high-performing teams, manage risk and issue resolution, and represent GDCL US interests in global forums and with key stakeholders. Travel up to 20–25% and leverage experience in international trade compliance, cross-border operations, and leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and cost-effective logistics solutions. Preferred: MBA or equivalent and background in healthcare/regulated industries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field (required)
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in global logistics, GDCL, trade operations, or supply chain leadership roles
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-border and multi-site operations
- Deep knowledge of international trade compliance, customs, and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing managers and senior professionals
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and translate it into executable operating models
- Fluency in English; additional European languages preferred
