Job Summary
The Drywaller at Volumod is responsible for taping drywall seams, mixing and applying mud, installing vapor barriers, and applying texturing materials. This physically demanding position requires the ability to lift over 40 pounds and work in various positions. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and preferably experience in construction or relevant production areas. The role involves maintaining tools and work areas, meeting production goals, and maintaining good attendance. Cross-training in different assembler duties is possible for skill progression.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- GED or High school diploma
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Ability to work in a team and take direction
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment daily
Desired Qualifications
- Construction or warehouse experience preferred
- Skill in the operation and control of hand tools (tape measure, hammer, utility knife)
- Skill in the operation and control of power tools (circular saws, table saws, drills)
