Job Summary
Drywaller position for federal, commercial, and industrial projects requiring patch work on existing structures. Responsibilities include hanging, taping, patching, and finishing drywall; installing/removing dust and debris protection daily; resetting vanities, cabinets, and light fixtures; maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment; and clear communication with project leads, teammates, residents, and vendors. Requires 3+ years of proven drywall experience, strong attention to detail and quality workmanship, dependable full-time availability, ability to lift 50-100 lbs., and eligibility to work in the US. Location is Alexandria, VA and surrounding areas; shift is days; benefits include IRA match, health insurance with employee premium contributions, PTO, holidays, mileage reimbursement, equipment, and continuing education reimbursement. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience with drywall hanging, taping, patching, and painting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable full-time availability
- Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50-100 lbs., walk regularly, and climb steps occasionally
- Must be 18+, authorized to work in the US
- Hang, tape, patch, and finish drywall in Federal, Commercial, and Industrial environments
- Install and remove dust and debris protection daily
- Reset vanities, cabinets, and light fixtures as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate clearly with project leads, teammates, and residents
- Follow safety protocols and company quality standards
- Maintain, foster, and develop productive relationships including with co-workers, other departments, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
