Job Summary
Residential drywall taper/texture worker responsible for preparing and performing interior repairs, preparing and painting jobs in a residential setting. Experience with repairs, taping/mudding/ceiling texture to bring areas to paint-ready state, matching textures, spraying ceiling texture, and interacting professionally with customers to evaluate requests, describe work orders, and troubleshoot issues. Identify materials and quantities, prepare surfaces by scraping/sanding, use caulk/putty/cement/plaster to repair holes and cracks, inspect paint jobs for quality, and perform routine maintenance on painting equipment. May assist with other projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential painting and/or remodeling/home repair
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
