Drywall/Paint Field Tech - Paint & Drywall

Job Summary

Install, repair, and finish drywall in residential and commercial environments by measuring, cutting, and fitting panels to exact dimensions. Apply compounds, sand, and tape surfaces for seamless finishes, then prepare areas for painting by cleaning and removing previous coats. Apply paint, stains, or coatings using sprayers, rollers, and brushes to create textured or specialty finishes as requested. Erect and dismantle scaffolding while adhering to OSHA safety protocols and maintaining clean, organized job sites. Communicate project status and site conditions with field managers and customers. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction sites.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED, technical school, or trade certification accepted)
  • 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry with demonstrated drywall and/or painting expertise
  • Valid driver's license for 3+ years and insurable under company policy
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
  • Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Must be able to work in active construction sites
  • Must be able to work in heat (above 90°F)
  • Must be able to work in cold (below 32°F)
  • Must be able to work in precipitation conditions
  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and use hands to handle tools and materials
  • Must be able to travel between sites or operate company vehicles for up to 2+ hours
  • Must be able to adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols
  • Must be able to follow all regulations and best practices for chemical handling, waste storage, and disposal
  • Must be able to maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with field managers and customers regarding project status and site conditions
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to work 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
