Job Summary
Prepare and finish drywall surfaces to meet client and industry quality standards, identifying and correcting imperfections including cracks, seams, and surface irregularities. Install corner bead and reinforcement materials while maintaining clean and organized job sites. Follow OSHA and company safety policies, including working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces. Coordinate with leadership and project teams to communicate progress and material needs, and mentor less experienced finishers. Provide and maintain personal drywall finishing tools. This role supports business, institutional, and large-scale construction projects within the Commercial Walls and Ceilings Division, requiring 4+ years of experience and passing drug and alcohol screening.
Required Qualifications
- Must provide and maintain personal drywall finishing tools
- Ability to perform physical job duties
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces
- Must pass UA/PCP drug and alcohol screening
- Employment contingent on E-Verify authorization
- Must comply with safety policies
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years drywall finishing experience
- Experience with finishing tools other than pan and knife
- Ability to work safely on drywall stilts
- Experience in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail
