Job Summary
Operate and monitor drying, packaging, and bottle handling lines, including depalletizers, inspectors, and filling stations. Manage system output by adjusting discharge mechanisms to achieve desired case weights and perform quality checks on dried product. Transport raw and finished goods using forklifts and electric hoists while recording sanitation and production data. Assist in machinery changeovers for various product lines and ensure strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety protocols. Report any potential food safety concerns to management immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Highly detail oriented
- Understanding and knowledge of basic mechanics
- Ability to work under conditions of high temperature and high humidity for extended periods of time
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds usually from floor to waist level, and able to lift 25 pounds repetitively at or above shoulder height
- Frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
- Frequently required to reach above shoulders, climb, work at heights, crouch, stoop or kneel
