Job Summary
As a Dryer Operator (PM shift), you will operate the dryer machine, complete production log sheets and work instructions, monitor gauge readings, and take hourly readings on evaporator and injector status. You will move product between wash tanks, dryers, and elevators, manage the overhead conveyor/hoist system, and maintain a steady flow of product to the scale mezzanine. You’ll inspect for contaminants, perform cleaning/sterilization of the sifter and related equipment, and adapt to fast-paced, physically demanding conditions with climbing stairs and regular lifting. Strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to posted procedures are required; Spanish language skills are a plus. Weekend work is expected. This role is based in Haines City, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to tolerate working in a very humid/warm environment
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be able to climb stairs frequently
- Must be highly organized
- Must have good oral communication skills
- Must have a team player attitude
- Must be able to work weekdays and weekends
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
- Hands-on ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand and follow posted work rules/ procedures
