Job Summary
Safely run protein plant dryer equipment and achieve production goals while maintaining consistent quality. Operate large machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance. Package protein powder into 50lb bags or large totes. Execute CIP and sanitation of equipment, cleaning floors, walls, and tools. Move pallets using a pallet jack or forklift as required. Comply with all Plant, State, and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. Perform routine inspections of all working parts and maintain Food Safety and Quality Systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a team player and the ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility in the schedule regarding different shifts, days, weekends and holidays
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb stairs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all different types of weather elements
