Job Summary
The Dryer Loader operates and maintains production dryers for Tremco sealants and roofing products, reading batch instructions to add raw materials, monitoring control settings via panels and HMIs, recording production and downtime, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include following safety rules, performing standard work procedures, cross-training on other production functions, keeping the work area stocked and organized, and participating in continuous improvement. Required/preferred skills include forklift certification (preferred or willing to obtain), basic computer skills, Lean and Visual Factory Management familiarity, ability to read instruments and batch instructions, and strong teamwork and multitasking abilities. Cleveland, OH facility; on-site production role.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification preferred, or willing to obtain
- Basic computer skills required (Windows familiarity)
- LEAN and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills and/or willingness to train
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner
- Ability to read, write and comprehend batch making processes
- Ability to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights and other indicators to verify conformity of process conditions
