Job Summary
Provide technical and musical instruction during rehearsals to youth; run rehearsals for and provide technical and musical instruction to the youth; develop percussion shows; communicate with youth, staff, and families regarding rehearsals and performances; select, maintain, and/or distribute equipment to be purchased through the program budget; supervise students during rehearsals and shows.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or higher
- Experience and/or expertise in percussion performance
- Experience and/or expertise in percussion writing or percussion instruction
- Effective communication with staff, youth, and families
- Professionalism and positive disposition
- Has completed or is willing to complete all necessary clearances
