Job Summary
The Drug Product Visual Inspection Technician will perform visual inspection of sterile-filled drug product vials to identify visible defects and ensure product quality and patient safety. Responsibilities include handling sterile containers while seated, swirling and inverting vials to detect defects, documenting production quantities with Good Documentation Practices, applying basic math for counting and reconciliation, following written procedures under GMP, cleaning visual inspection and packaging areas, communicating quality issues, maintaining attention to detail across multiple tasks, and complying with all applicable regulations and SOPs. The role requires reading and following English SOPs, wearing PPE for the full shift, and maintaining high integrity and collaboration with leadership and peers. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and comply with SOPs written in English
- Detail oriented and able to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Ability to maintain visual qualifications (20/20 vision, color discernment)
- Ability to work in PPE for all GMP areas
- Experience or familiarity with GMP/regulated environments is desirable
