Job Summary
Provide clinical services in a residential treatment program for women and their children, including biopsychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, and delivery of individual, family, and group counseling, while coordinating referrals and ensuring licensure/quality standards. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and ongoing documentation and program evaluation to support maternal recovery and family functioning.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Chemical Dependency, Nursing (clinical specialty), or a related human services field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of two years of related clinical experience
- Current valid driver's license
- Ability to transport clients as needed, including driving a 12-passenger van
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, maternal addiction, recovery principles, and trauma-informed treatment approaches
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and counseling skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Knowledge of community resources and support systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
- Flexibility to work occasional non-traditional hours as program needs require
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances (reimbursed after contingent offer)
- TB testing (reimbursed after hire)
- Participation in all required training and professional development activities
Additional Requirements
- History of substance use disorder must demonstrate a minimum of two years of continuous recovery prior to employment and maintain abstinence throughout employment
