Job Summary
The Drug & Alcohol Outpatient Therapist will provide diagnostic assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy to clients, including conducting formal clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing crisis assessment and stabilization services. Responsibilities include performing substance abuse treatment, conducting therapy sessions, completing clinical documentation, and maintaining professional relationships. A Master’s degree and relevant licensure/certification are required, alongside experience in the behavioral health field, particularly with justice-involved individuals.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists from a regionally accredited institution
- One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists
- 1 year of experience providing therapeutic services to justice-involved individuals
- LPC Licensed Preferred (LCSW, PsyD a plus)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
