Job Summary
Conduct substance misuse and abuse assessments for applicants and students, including mood, behavior, and reasoning evaluations. Provide early detection, diagnosis, and prevention services to financially disadvantaged youth aged 16 to 24, while documenting all interactions in the Student Health Record. Monitor chronic conditions, coordinate care with the Center Mental Health Consultant and physician, and manage medication schedules. Deliver monthly presentations on substance prevention and lead skill-building groups for wellness. Report adverse behaviors, medical separations, and supply needs to the Center Director and Health and Wellness Director. Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and participate in required DOL and Forest Service assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (in counseling, psychology, or a behavioral science field) OR 90 college credit hours
- 300 hours of alcohol and drug-specific coursework
- 4,000 hours of supervised work
- Current CPR certification
